Cabin Tiny House Johanna 5.6m x 4.2m
$34,999
Product Description
Forget the massive cost and headache of a house extension, the stunning, contemporary Johanna 5.6m x 4.2m gives you a generous 19.4m² floor area to spread out. Built for true year-round comfort, this mid-sized Nordic-style cabin provides plenty of room to set up a self-contained sleepout, a spacious home office, or a comfortable backyard retreat for friends and family. Unlike standard kitset cabins, the Johanna range features ready-made wall elements built with internal wind-protection plastic already installed. It is specifically framed for 95mm insulation, making it simple to line and insulate so it stays cosy through freezing winter nights and cool during hot Kiwi summers. With its generous footprint, 24mm thick double-glazed full-height doors (sliding and single opening), the interior gets flooded with natural light while maintaining excellent thermal performance. The wide opening doors let you open the space right up on sunny afternoons, seamlessly connecting your indoor setup with a deck, patio, or garden area. Delivered as a complete DIY kitset with treated foundation joists and 19mm tongue-and-groove roof and floorboards, the main cabin comes untreated so you can paint, oil, or stain it to match your house. Backed by a 5-Year Warranty, it is a smart, stylish way to add real value and usable living space to your property. Perfect for: The growing family: Ideal as a spacious sleepout, independent guest accommodation, or a private retreat for teenagers who need their own zone. The year-round remote worker: A spacious, quiet home office that fits multiple workstations comfortably. The lifestyle improver: Plenty of room for a craft studio, games room, or dedicated backyard lounge. Ensure your base keeps the cabin floor raised at least 50mm off the ground to allow proper airflow underneath, and place a damp-proof course between the joists and the ground. If you are unsure about site preparation, getting a local tradie to set up a level base is well worth it.

This is the 5th trade tested canin i have bought and had built . The Iris is a great space to work with. This is the second Iris i have bought as i am so impressed with the first one
More than happy with the service offered by Trade Tested and their products of which i have bought a few.
Good shed
Turned out great, no issues with cut lengths or timber defects. Better to build your own base/foundation.
Excellent Cabin
As an Engineer I'm very impressed by how precise and accurately machined this Log Cabin was and went together
A lovely, traditional garden shed
This was easy to put together and the instructions were clear. The kitset included a large roll of roofing felt, so I put three layers on the roof for extra water-proofing. It is robustly constructed, unlike many cheap sheds, and it looks cute as a button with a fresh coat of paint. I particularly liked that the wood was untreated - no toxic materials to handle - and there is a lovely raw timber smell to the shed when you step inside (took me back to my childhood).

Great log cabin
We've installed it at our retreat centre for confession and small group breakout room. It's been well received and well used.
fantastic cabin
this cabin really suited our needs and looks great in the back yard, we get so many positive comments from our friends. it's was easy to build just need a bit of building knowledge and you're away. would highly recommend
Big job to build but worth it
Intense build as only pictures to guide you. We did a couple of mistakes which meant undoing and redoing but we are still on speaking terms! Hardest part was attaching the swing brackets onto the beam, perhaps the timber had swelled due to rain but it was a very hard job. Took us 3 days to build it but thoroughly worth the end result. In summer will add sand underneath and a cover for a sandpit. We are planning to cut the ribbon for a grand opening this weekend.
Anna house
TI was pleased with the house but the wooden windows open in and have about 5mm gaps on sides, also the glass rubber was not tight enough to stop rain. so between all of that they leaked water in quite bad.

Fantastic Little Playhouse
Thoroughly enjoyed building this playhouse for my grand daughter. The instructions were excellent and the house was easy to build. The painting took much longer ! The only improvement I would suggest is that the screws supplied were of poor quality. I made the decision to purchase better ones.

Emilia Glass house
Very easy to build , would have been good if there had been some pre drilled holes for the door and vents . Very pleased with the end result , definetly do not need to be a builder to assemble .
